Great to see you branch out and spread your wings!
You've done such a great job posting at the BBCA RH forum. You have quite following amongst The Guys here on the ward. I think that they just might want to start their own blog as well.
The Warriors would have some pretty cool things to say about literature, Believe it or not, they are a pretty well read bunch. We have a lot of fun with the RH Book Club offerings. Its one of our favorite things to do; our RH Story Time Theater (as they like to call it around here, LOL).
How about discussing a bit about the way media in general has portrayed the stuff in "the Stan" and how perceptions of the things going on over there just might affect the outcome? I'm old enough to remember the lasting affect the press and public opinion had on Vietnam, so The Guys are curious to see the impression you guys have about what they've been experiencing first hand over there.
Odessa, any good readings to offer on current Persian authors out there?
I have been wanting to branch out to more world literature, of course in my educational career I've studied alot of American and British literature, but that might be a new project. I'll let you know what I uncover, and I would love to hear from The Guys!

I just posted a blog about Persian authors, most of the authors I found in my research are Iranian, but some of the titles may be of interest to you and The Guys. It's still nice to get a perspective of a different region and culture.
